Ironcast: A Steampunk-inspired RPG Game
Ironcast is a turn-based strategy game that takes place in an alternate history of Victorian England. The game is developed by Dreadbit and is available on Nintendo Switch with a full version license. The game is set in the 1880s when walking war machines called Ironcasts were used to defend the British Empire against invading forces.
In the game, you control a 7-meter tall Ironcast and battle against enemy Ironcasts by generating resource nodes. You must use these nodes wisely to either attack your opponents or defend yourself from incoming weapons fire. The game has a roguelite campaign mode where death is permanent, but you get persistent rewards from one game session to the next. The game features a hand-painted art style and is inspired by the steampunk genre and Victorian science fiction.
Ironcast offers over 50 different unlockable items to customize your Ironcast with unique weapons and defensive systems. The game also has passive augmentations that allow you to modify your Ironcast's weapons and abilities. Ironcast is available on PC, Mac, and Linux.
